Hey there and thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Beansie and I’m a producer during the 9-5 and a travel bug whenever I can get the time off… and some cash. I’ve always wanted to take a year to travel, but it’s never been the right moment for me. So, I do it whenever I get the chance to and am currently trying this thing where I live like I’m on vacation. It’s definitely been an interesting experiment so far.

I’ve been finding that the photos I take have just been piling up on my computer and I wanted to have a place for me to put them, along with the stories and key dates behind what was photographed. I’ve always been fascinated by history (specifically early medieval through to the Renaissance) and want to make a concerted effort to learn as much as possible about the history of the places that I visit, at home and abroad.
